Dinner Dance & Presentation Evening
This years dinner dance was another resounding success.. 45 club members and friends enjoyed a splendid 3 course meal provided by two the Square from Conwy.
There was a worry that it would not meet the standards they set last year which were very high, but it did!
Rob Davies had an outstanding year recieving trophis for winning the Salisbury Series, The Williams Series, The Summer Series, The Marine Autumn Series, The First Out Trophy and the Easter Tankard.
John Brown continued his winning streak from last year winning the Summer Series, The Tony Lockett Mini Series, The RNLI Trophy, The St Georges Hotel Cup and the Mid-Summer Trophy.
New boy on the block Simon Butt, found success with his new Supernova. He soon got to grips with it and won The Commodores Trophy and The Boucher Trophy.
Winners of The Chamber of Trade Series was Andy Bluff and Gareth Roberts
The Constable Trophy was won by Richard Jones with the help of his son Jack Jones.
The Winfield Trophy was won by Carl and Shellie Jones.
The Club Champion was won by Carl Jones.
The Youth Champion was won by Evan Thomas.
The Junior Champion was won by Jack Jones (pictured above)
The first Lady Helm was won by Sue Hickman
The Most Improved Sailor was won by Simon Nichols
The Capsize Cup was hotly contested but won by Rich Kemp.
Finally the Frank Chapman Merit Trophy awarded for services “above and beyond” to the club was presented to Carl Jones.
