Llandudno Sailing Club App

In an effort to improve communications with our club members and club member to club member we are introducing a new app for your phone. It is free to download and run (though it does come with adverts).

It gives us a calendar of events tailored to your membership category i.e. Social, Sailing, Cruising or all. It has chat rooms that are again tailored to your membership category and are NOT available to the public to see or add to. These can be used to ask questions about sailing, social events or trying to find a crew for a race or series etc. It has a gallery for photographs which all can upload to. It gives links to the website and to the results of the latest series.

It has been rolled out to committee members for trial over the winter with very positive feedback. One issue though was that on loading the app a few got into a purchasing scheme of some sort. This should not happen! So to aid the process I have written out a guide to loading and signing up to the app.

When you have your membership confirmed by the membership secretary you will be sent an Email inviting you to join the app.

Follow the instruction and install the Stack Team App for iOS or Android depending on your phone

Deny or allow the devices location as you like, it is not required for the app to work.

Click on the Log In or Sign Up tab at the bottom.

Click on Continue with Email

Enter your Email Address and click on Continue.

Enter a password and confirm password and hit continue.

Click on Find your Team/Club

Enter llsc in the search field

Select Llandudno Sailing Club distinguished by our club burgee.

Log-in and I will be notified to approve your application (keeping the app secure to members only). Once I have done this you will have full access to all features of the app that your membership calls for.

NB. On my phone I have only logged in once so you do not have to do this every time you use the app.
