AGM and Presentation of Awards.

AGM

On the 27th November 2022 the Annual General Meeting was held and well attended. The minutes of the 2021 AGM were accepted unanimously as was the Commodores report for 2022. The Treasurers report was discussed and also accepted unanimously.

Tony Locket Continues as the Clubs President.

Rosy Hearn stood down as Commodore and has moved into the role of Rear Commodore.

Peter Fisk stood down as Sailing Captain and has moved into the role of Commodore.

Sarah Parr continues as club Treasurer.

John Brown has stepped in as the clubs Sailing Captain.

Carl and Shellie Jones have taken the role of Social Secretary.

Presentation of Awards 2022 Season.

Pete Fisk

was declared Club Champion 2022 in addition to winning the Morris Gibbons Series and the RNLI Trophy. Pete was also runner up in the Salisbury and Williams Series and the Chamber of Trade Series.

Llion Morris

Was declared the Youth Champion along with winning the Easter Tankard, the Constable Trophy, the Sargent Trophy and the Winfield Trophy. Also runner up in the Marine Autumn Series.

Evan Thomas

was declared the Junior Champion

Carl and Shellie Jones

Were winners of the Salisbury and William Series, The Eskimo Series andthe First Out Trophy.

Cliff Walker

Was winner of the Sumner Series and the Capsize Cup. He was also Runner up in the Eskimo Series.

John Brown

Won the Chamber of Trade Series, the Summer series, the Norman Brierly Trophy and the Boucher Trophy.

Gareth Roberts

Was given the award for services to the club “above and beyond”

Rosy Hearn

was awarded the Clubs Lady Helm.

Ed Farrel

Won the Most Improved Sailor.

Rob Davies

Won the Marine Autumn Series

Les Thomas

was runner up in the Sumner Series

Andy Bluff won the Morris Gibbons Series along with Gareth Roberts. He also won Commodores Cup (sorry no photograph)
